Wiley Center for Speech and Language Development

Mission Statement

The Wiley Center for Speech and Language Development is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing intense language and speech stimulation to preschool children who experience and are at–risk for speech, language and communication delays. Our programs and services are developmentally and age appropriate. We respect the significance of cultural diversity among our families and value the uniqueness of each child.

The Wiley Center,s educational environment strives for and facilitates each child’s development toward their full potential. We are committed to delivering superior services in a nurturing, loving environment. Participation by parents, family members or guardians is considered a valuable and necessary component of our programs and services.

The ultimate goal of the Wiley Center for Speech and Language Development is to prepare children with special needs to participate fully and successfully in a regular preschool or headstart program, thereby eliminating the need for special education placement in later years.
